As part of the declared emergency situation on the Slaná River caused by the discharge of polluted mine waters from the Nižná Slaná siderite mine, WRI continues the third monitoring cycle of the groundwater quality in the Slaná River alluvium including monitoring of the water pollution impact on aquatic biota in the river.
